The Problem
The ecosystem
rewards the pitch
not the product.
Not builders.

Founders are being trained to perform, not to produce. Programmes that rehearse your deck and prepare you for investors, before any real product exists.

The result? A generation raising capital for products they haven't built, on timelines nobody believes.

The gap isn't a better pitch. The gap is execution. And no advisory session is going to close it.

We fill the gap between
a great idea and
something investors actually want.
What We Do

Three founders.
Every
blind spot
covered.

FNDRY Ventures is not a fund. It's not a consultancy. It's the founding team you didn't have. We embed as co-builders.

From market validation to investor readiness: product, design, tech, and go-to-market covered. Three founders, embedded in your venture, closing every gap.

How It Works

The FNDRY/
Framework

Four phases, each gated by evidence. No assumptions. No exceptions.

Explore/

We start where most founders skip: proving the opportunity actually exists. Market size, customer need, competitive reality. If the foundation isn't there, we redirect.

Phase checkpoint
  • Validated customer need that holds up to scrutiny
  • Competitive landscape mapped with clear differentiation
  • Market sizing a sceptical investor would believe
  • Customer discovery that changed your thinking, not confirmed it

Design/

This is where assumptions get replaced with decisions. Who the customer really is, what problem is worth solving, and exactly what your product does about it. Defined before a single thing gets built.

Phase checkpoint
  • Customer personas built from conversations, not guesswork
  • Customer journey defined by evidence, not intuition
  • Human-centred design that drives product decisions, not just aesthetics
  • Honest assessment of where your product actually sits: MVP, prototype, or scale

Build/

This is where the work becomes real. Not a Figma file, not a prototype. Something that actually functions in the market. Scoped to your stage, architected for where you're going, not just where you are.

Phase checkpoint
  • Right-sized scope for your stage. No overbuilding, no cutting corners
  • AI-driven infrastructure decisions from day one
  • Architecture that supports the next two years, not just launch
  • Working product, not a prototype, not a Figma file

Market/

The hardest part of raising isn't the pitch. It's having something worth pitching. By this phase, you do. We shape the narrative, sharpen the materials, and open the right doors.

Phase checkpoint
  • Market-ready positioning and messaging that holds up to scrutiny
  • Investor-ready pitch materials built from real traction
  • Warm introductions to relevant investors and strategic partners
  • GTM strategy with real acquisition channels, not assumptions
The Team

Peers,
not advisors.

We don't watch from a distance. Each FNDRY founder embeds in your venture: doing real work, making real calls, accountable for real outcomes. You get three peers who've done this before, not a roster of advisors who haven't.

Product & GTM
Samantha Middlebrook
Product & GTM Strategist

Samantha has led product strategy and GTM through M&A, pivots, and global market entry. She brings the commercial rigour founders rarely have and investors always look for.

Design
Krisha Patel
Human-Centred Design

Krisha applies human-centred design principles that solve real problems, not just beautiful interfaces. Design that drives decisions, not decorates them.

Tech
Miral Shah
Tech & Architecture

Miral specialises in AI-driven infrastructure, MVP vs rebuild decisions, and scalable architecture that's built for where you're going, not just where you are.

Who It’s For

Built for
founders
who work.

  • /You're a first-time founder with fresh perspective and the hunger to learn fast
  • /You're a serial entrepreneur with business acumen but a technical or design capability gap
  • /You're pre-seed, you've done the research, and you have work to show, not just a slide deck
  • /You are willing to put in the hard work at every phase, not throw your idea over the fence
  • You're looking for a body shop to build your product while you stay at 30,000 feet
  • You want mentors who are available fortnightly for a catch-up
  • You haven't validated a problem yet and want someone else to do it for you
The common thread

You are ready to work. You are not looking for a free ride or a polished performance. You are a founder who is willing to build something real. You just need the right people alongside you to close the gaps.

FAQ

Straight
answers.

  • Pre-seed, with evidence. You don't need a product, but you do need to have done the work. Customer conversations, genuine research, and a market position you can defend. If you have a deck but no insights, we're not the right fit.
  • Each phase moves when the evidence says so, not when a calendar does. Explore runs 4–6 weeks. Design 4–8 weeks. Build is scoped to your stage. Market runs alongside the final stages of Build. Most ventures go from first conversation to investor-ready in 6–9 months, because the work is done properly, not rushed.
  • No, and that's intentional. We build alongside you. The difference matters: founders who outsource their product end up disconnected from it. We work with you to build capability, not dependency. You'll leave every phase understanding what was built and why.
  • Very. We work with a small number of ventures at a time, because embedded means embedded. We can't be everywhere at once. We're looking for founders who have done the work, know what they don't know, and won't flinch when we tell them something they don't want to hear.
  • That depends on the venture and what's been built. In many cases we continue as a strategic partner or retain a board seat. In others, the founder takes the reins with a full team in place. We're transparent about exit from the engagement at the start. There are no surprises.
